Becoming: An Arts Practice Investigation of the Self as Fluid and Unresolved

I am currently undertaking an Arts Practice PhD at the University of Limerick. Becoming is an artistic research project exploring the self not as a fixed identity, but as something fluid, fragmented and continuously evolving. Emerging from my background as a classically trained violinist, the project moves between violin practice, improvisation, electronics, writing and performance. Through sound, language and embodied practice, I explore how the self emerges, dissolves and reconfigures over time. Rather than seeking definitive answers, the work creates spaces for ambiguity, multiplicity and becoming.
